M & S Contrators (E.A) Ltd have been trading since1987, and we have built up a wealth of experience within the building industry. Specialising in carpentry and joinery we have established ourselves as one of the largest sub-contractors in the south eastern region of the UK, providing our clients with an unrivalled service in terms of skilled carpenters, material procurement and project management.
We have met the requirements of end clients such as BUPA, Centreparcs, Tesco, Audi, Holiday Inn, Marks & Spencer, Ipswich Town FC, BMW and B&Q, working with main contractors such as Bovis Lend Lease, Laing O'Rourke, Alfred McAlpine, Wates Construction, Amec and Costain. As a result we have built up a wide range of experience in the housing, commercial, local authority, healthcare, education, hotel, leisure and retail sectors.
Our success has been built on the unique skills and experience of our workforce and our office staff. Many have already put in years of service with the company, and can offer expertise and a depth of knowledge that is simply not available anywhere else. Currently we have some 200 operatives and we are fully committed to achieving 100% CSCS card compliance.
Because we have forged strong long lasting relationships with our key suppliers we have created a very efficient and cost-effective supply chain. This enables us to offer very competitve prices - in fact we can often buy materials more economically than the main contractor.
As a company we are also well aware of our environmental responsibilities. Wherever possible we ensure that all the materials are purchased from well managed renewable sources approved by the FSC.
